About Us

Structure of the school day:

All children are expected in school by 8.50 am for registration. Children are allowed on the site from 8.40 am. There is a Breakfast Club available for children whose parents need to drop them off earlier, which starts at 7.30 am.

The end of the school day is 3.15 pm when parents or carers can meet their children in the playground. We also offer an After-school club which is available until 6pm. Children are offered a drink and a light snack and a variety of supervised indoor and outdoor activities are on offer.

The Building:

The present site was completed in 1990 and provides superb facilities for all aspects of primary education. They are surrounded by seven acres of grounds, including landscaped gardens; “quiet areas”; separate play areas for infants and juniors; a hardcourt area with two netball courts and a large field with two football pitches which is also used for cricket and athletics in the summer.

Within the last 18 months we have also installed specialist adventure play equipment both for the infants and the juniors.

Our building comprises 9 classrooms, each has its own integral practical area containing a sink and working facilities, with a further three rooms set aside for the Kindergarten. The school also has an IT suite; a well-stocked library; a kitchen where hot food is prepared daily for the children and a large central hall. The hall is used for assemblies, PE, and lunches.

Please feel free to contact us if you would like further information about the school, or would like to arrange a visit. If you are moving into the area and have a child or children already of school age, please feel free to bring them in with you. We would be delighted to show you the facilities we have and introduce you to our staff.
