IT (Information Technology)

IT SuiteWe have 14 work stations in our dedicated IT suite with three printers and two scanners as well as a number of digital cameras and digital video recorders. In addition, data projectors are available in all classes, which also have their own PC and laptop.

The school possesses a wide range of software and makes particular use of RM software to support other areas of the curriculum. IT is taught in line with the QCA scheme, and the facilities at the school enable children to quickly develop IT skills.

IT is a vital tool in cross-curricular terms, allowing children to produce artwork, newsletters, letters, stories and science write-ups in creative and original ways.

The school's ICT/Business after-school club, Busy Bs, received national recognition in 2001, appearing in the RM Magazine and winning a Pathfinder Award for contributions to careers education.
